Polling sites listed for Nov. 3 general election
Clayton County is utilizing the same polling place locations as the previous General Election for the 2020 General Election. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Personal protective equipment and extra sanitation will be provided. Polling places may be subject to change due to COVID-19. Following are a list of precincts, followed by polling locations:
Boardman-Highland: Central State Bank Community Room, 200 N. Main Street, Elkader
Buena Vista: Immaculate Conception Parish Hall, Walnut Street, North Buena Vista
Cass: Strawberry Point Civic Center, 401 Commercial Street, Strawberry Point
Clayton-Garnavillo: Garnavillo Community Center, 106 W. Niagara Street, Garnavillo
Cox Creek-Sperry: St. Paul’s Fellowship Hall, 700 Washington Street, Volga
Elk-Mallory-Volga: Elkport-Garber Community Center, 120 Main Street, Elkport
Farmersburg-Wagner: Farmersburg Community Center; 4 E. Adams Street, Farmersburg
Giard-Luana-Monona: Monona Community Center, 104 S. Egbert Street, Monona
Grand Meadow: Monona Community Center, 104 S. Egbert Street, Monona
Jefferson-Millville: Guttenberg Municipal Building, 502 First Street, Guttenberg
Lodomillo: Strawberry Point Civic Center, 401 Commercial Street, Strawberry Point
Marion: Central State Bank Community Room, 200 N Main Street, Elkader
Mendon: Marquette Community Center, 120 North Street, Marquette
Read: Garnavillo Community Center, 106 W. Niagara Street, Garnavillo
Absentee voting
Absentee voting is also an option and is available by mail or in person. Ballots are available for voting beginning Oct. 5. The Iowa Secretary of State sent absentee ballot requests forms to all registered voters. If you have already sent a form in, you do not need to submit another.
