Krahn surpasses 1,000 career points

On Friday night, Jan. 15, versus visiting Platteville, Lily Krahn surpassed 1,000 points for her high school varsity basketball career.
Krahn netted 23 points against Platteville, and then scored 19 against host La Crosse Aquinas on Saturday night, Jan. 16. Krahn now has a total of 1,020 points for her stellar career.
Only four players have scored more than 1,000 points in their careers in Prairie du Chien High School girls basketball history. Michelle Kozelka Pattison totaled 1,528. Morgan Banasik had 1,507. Courtney Lewis Duberry netted 1,069. Now, junior Lily Krahn has 1,020 and is going strong.
Krahn is averaging 21.8 points per game this season and, anyone who has seen her play, knows she is a highly-skilled, all around player.
