Julita Therese Snell, 99, a native of Seneca, passed away Monday, Jan. 18, 2021.

Julita was born Sept. 12, 1921, in Seneca, to Michael and Agnes (Garvey). She worked for the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee for 30 years, retiring in 1983.

She is the sister to the late Michael, Thomas (Eileen O’Shaughnessy/Snell/Slade), Joseph and Sister M. Darias, O.P. (Agnes). 

She is survived by nieces Joanne (Joe) Prew and Ellen (Tom) Shinko; great nephews, Tom (Malen) Prew of Savage Minn., and Andrew (Kris) Prew of La Crosse; great-great-nephew, Trent Prew; and great-great-niece Maddison Prew. 

A private family service will be held at St. Patirck’s, Seneca. The Garrity Funeral Home, of Prairie du Chien, is assisting the family.
