Robert (Bob) F. Kramer, 74, of Elkader, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at the Elkader Medical Center. Bob was the son of Milton and Anna Mae (Eberhardt) Kramer. He was raised in Elkader, attending public schools and graduating high school there. He graduated from Luther College in Decorah, with a teaching degree. Bob lived in Pella and taught and coached in the Pella Community School District until he retired. He moved back to Elkader after retirement to help care for his parents.

Bob is survived by his brother, Milt (Joanne) Kramer of Manchester; sister-in-law, Sandy Kramer of New Braunfels, Texas; nieces, Valerie Hanson, Kerry (Kirk) Johnson, Jill (Mark) Davidson, Lisa (Michael) Kukral; nephew, Jeff (Shawn) Kramer; and many great- and great-great nieces and nephews. Bob is also survived by a large and loving extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and dear family friends. He will be especially missed by his fur-baby, Jasper and all his feline “cowboys.” Bob was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and his brother, Clyde Kramer.

Services were at Peace United Church of Christ in Elkader on March 26, with visitation beforehand.

Very special thanks go to the loving, compassionate and dedicated professional staff of St. Croix Hospice in Strawberry Point and of the Elkader Medical Center staff and ambulance crew. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Croix Hospice of Strawberry Point or the Humane Society of Northeast Iowa in Decorah.
