Jeanette F. Hagensick
Jeanette Francis (Benish) Hagensick passed away after an extended illness on March 2, 2021.
She was born on April 26, 1938, in Prairie du Chien, the daughter of Frank and Veda (Steiner) Benish. She graduated from St. Mary’s Academy in 1956, with honors, and pursued her continued education in the airline industry. She married John R. Hagensick in 1959, and, to this union, four children were born. They later relocated to Orange Park, Fla., where she worked for the U.S. government. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. She was laid to rest on March 20, 2021, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Orange Park. Jeanette will be forever remembered in our hearts with a great sense of humor, her wonderful spirit and her devotion to her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Marvin) Helms; her son, John (Katie) Hagensick II; former husband, John “Dick” (Jan) Hagensick; her sister, Marilyn “Boots” Haefer; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Veda Benish; and two beloved daughters, Linda and Sharon Hagensick.
