Tyra Beers pitched a solid game against Platteville.

The #4 Prairie du Chien Lady Blackhawks softball team started out the Regional Semifinals with a great win over #5 Platteville, 5-3, Monday afternoon.

PdC came out hot, scoring 4 runs in the first inning.  

Platteville answered with 2 in the third and 1 in the fifth, but after PdC tallied 1 more in the third, it was enough to hang on and win the game 5-3.

Pitching was a dual affair as Tyra Beers started the game. She pitched 4 innings, gave up 5 hits, 3 runs, 2 walks and had 3 strikeouts. Scout Hall came in and threw the last 3 innings, giving up 2 hits and 0 runs while fanning 2.

Leading hitters were Drew Fuller 2x3, Hope Martin 2x3 with 2 RBIs, and Macey Banasik 1x2 with 2 RBIs.

Next up is #1 River Valley on June 16 for the Regional Finals.
