Man charged with having stun gun
A 56-year-old Prairie du Chien man has been charged in Crawford County Circuit Court with one count of possession of an electric weapon.
Steven J. Zblewski faces up to six years in prison and a $10,000 fine if convicted.
According to the criminal complaint, a Prairie du Chien police officer responded to a disturbance in the Fuel House in Prairie du Chien. Several witnesses said Zblewski was verbally harassing several women and brandished a stun gun.
Zblewski admitted to the officer that he did have a stun gun and he eventually turned it over to the officer, the complaint said. Zblewski said he bought the stun gun at a flea market under the bridge in Marquette. Zblewski has been previously convicted of a felony and is not eligible to be issued a permit to carry a concealed weapon, according to the complaint.
