Sharon A. Neises, 78, of Patch Grove, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021, at home surrounded by her family. 

She was born on July 9, 1943, in Waukon, Iowa, the daughter of Edward and Jean (O’Neill) Liddiard. She graduated from Waukon High School. Sharon married Arthur Neises Jr. on Oct. 26, 1963, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Waukon. She worked as a bank manager for Peoples State Bank in Patch Grove for numerous years. She loved to read, listen to music, go camping, boating, and ride her UTV around the area. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family. 

Sharon is survived by her husband of 57 years, Arthur; her daughters, Tammy and Sheila Neises, Shelly Jones; three grandchildren, Trevor (Julie) and Tyler Price, Carsyn Jones; two great-grandchildren; her brother, Pat (Mary) Liddiard; her sister, Colleen (Norm) Lewis; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Memorial Mass of Resurrection will be on Friday, Aug. 6, at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church in Patch Grove with Father John Meinholz officiating, inurnment in Patch Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday Aug. 5, from 5 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Friday. There will be a Celebration of Sharon’s life at the Blake Hollow Barn located on Maine Road, Bagley, beginning at 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug 6. The Garrity Funeral Home, of Prairie du Chien, is assisting the family.
