On a warm, sticky night, the Prairie du Chien girls stepped up to the line and they were off at the Kickapoo Invitational cross country meet Thursday. 

Tannah Radloff picked up a top 10 finish again by finishing in 10th place with a 23:57. Josie Kramer also placed as she picked up 12th place on the night. Allie Mathies had a nice run and ended the night in 19th place. In their best races of the year, Ava Hager finished in 23rd place and Shayla Straka finished in 25th place. Rounding out the top seven, Kate Olson finished in 32nd place and Eowyn Earle finished in 33rd place. Payton Key placed 41st overall and Sadie Torgerson ended her evening in 42nd place. The girls finished in third overall in a field of 10 teams.

Boys Meet

The boys were up next and, after the race started, the boys were off. Spencer DeHart ended the night in 20th place with a 20:44. Bryce Priebe finished in 28th place and Lee Steiger right behind him finished in 30th place. Malachi Ames finished the evening in 36th place and Max Anthony finished in 37th on the night. Ryan Waller ended his evening in 39th place, Thomas O’Brien ended in 49th place and Chase Kozelka ended the night in 50th place. 

The boys ended the night in sixth place in a field of 10 teams.
