Ballot summary for Nov. 2 general election

Clayton County voters will go to the polls on Tuesday, Nov. 2, to choose candidates for municipal and school offices. Following is a summary of candidates in The Press readership area. For a list of all candidates in the county, see the legal notice elsewhere in this issue.
SCHOOL ELECTIONS
Clayton Ridge has six candidates seeking three seats: Chris Meier, Jessica Bittner, Michael Finnegan, Stephen Dikkers, Jason Reimer and Sam Brandt.
In the Edgewood-Colesburg School District, three candidates are on the ballot for three seats: Matt Elliot, Brad Bockenstedt and Daniel Venteicher. Voters will also decide on a proposed $12,050,000 bond issue to fund remodelling, repair and improvement projects.
MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS
Guttenberg
Mayor: Fred Schaub is running unopposed.
Council: The five candidates for three vacancies are Stephan Bahls, Michelle Geuder, Mark Herman, Mandy Ludovissy and Virginia Saeugling.
Hospital Trustee: The two candidates for two vacancies are Susan Osterhaus and Stephanie Radabaugh.
Garnavillo
No one filed for the three vacancies on the city council.
Clayton
No one filed for the mayor's position. Candidates for five seats on the city council are: Toni Schultz, Anita Grunder, Zetta Hart, Dixie Connell, Kaitlyn Kuehl-Berns, Thomas Brandel, Scott Kinkead and Cathy Staake.
Garber
Nioka Schroeder is the lone candidate for mayor. There are five candidates for five vacancies on the city council: R. Lyle Schroeder, Leroy R. Dugan, Ed Vanlennep, Ronnie E. Willie and Alicia Vanlennep.
Elkport
No candidates filed for the mayor's seat or for three open seats on the city council.
Osterdock
No candidaates filed for the mayor's seat or for five open seats on the city council.
North Buena Vista
No one filed for the mayor's position. There are five candidates for five seats on the city council: Robert Ludovissy, Ken Ludovissy, Diane Ludovissy, James Gordon and Paul Breitbach.
