Four MFL MarMac volleyball players are Upper Iowa all-conference selections. Riley Moreland was one of two unanimous first team players, while Grace Anderson was named to the second team and Lakota Morrissey and Kaitlin Picha received honorable mention nods.

Moreland, a senior, played in 26 matches this season. She recorded 163 kills, which was fourth best in the conference and tops among Bulldog players, and was also second in the Upper Iowa with a .259 kill efficiency. Her 32 total blocks—24 of which were solo—placed her fourth in the UIC and first for MFL MarMac. In addition, Moreland picked up 115 assists, putting her second on the team and eighth in the conference, and was second among Bulldog players with 98 digs. From the service line, Moreland went 192-223, for an 86.1 percent efficiency, and scored 16 aces—third best on the team.

Anderson, a junior, was one of MFL MarMac’s biggest threats at the net. She tallied 73 kills in 22 matches— a mark that was second best on the team. She was also second in total blocks, with 11. Seven of those were solo efforts.

Morrissey played in 23 matches, racking up a team high 167 assists. The senior was also seventh best in the conference in that category. Morrissey was fifth on the team with 34 digs and rattled off a 79.9 percent serve efficiency. Her nine aces were tied for fifth.

Picha, a sophomore, was a defensive specialist for the Bulldogs, picking up 92 digs—fourth best on the team—in 25 matches. She was also one of MFL MarMac’s top servers, with a 73.9 percent efficiency and 18 aces. The latter was the second most among Bulldog players.
