Joni M. Clausen, 51, of Lynxville, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021, at her home surrounded by family. 

She was born Nov. 9, 1970, the daughter of Harold and Sharon (Sullivan) Clausen. She graduated from Seneca High School before continuing her education at Southwest Technical College in Fennimore. She then worked at Accounting Associates in Boscobel before moving to Prairie du Chien to work for the city. She then worked for the 3M Company for several years. Joni loved being outdoors, going out on the river, and going on rides in the UTV. She loved her family and spending time with her friends. 

She is survived her son, Brady (Lacy Walters) Fernette; her father, Harold “Pork” Clausen; her brother, Jeff (Amy) Clausen, and sister, Julie (Frank) Arado; her significant other, David Cooper, along with Lyssa-Rebecca Cooper and Michael Nelson; her nephews, Chase (Kim) and Tanner Clausen, Frankie (Kortney) Arado, and niece Allie (Zach) Thornton. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon Clausen.

A Celebration of Life will be at a later date. The Garrity Funeral Home, of Prairie du Chien, is assisting the family.
