There will be a primary election this year on Tuesday, Feb. 15 for county board supervisor in District 12. Incumbent Alan M. Morovits of Steuben is facing challengers Brian C. Reynolds of Eastman and Owen DuCharme of Seneca.

The top two vote getters in the Feb. 15 primary will face off in the Spring General Election on Tuesday, April 5. 

All county board supervisor seats are up for election in the Spring Election of April 5. Incumbent Linda Munson in District 2 filed notification of non-candidacy on Dec. 13, 2021. There are no registered candidates on the ballot for District 2. So far, there are no non-registered write-in candidates for District 2. If nobody is elected in District 2, someone will be appointed by the county board chairman to fill the seat.

In District 9, incumbent Wade Dull of Soldiers Grove will be facing off against challenger Harrison Heilman of Soldiers Grove.

In District 10, incumbent Donald Stirling of Gays Mills will face challenger Seamus Murray of Gays Mills.

All 17 county board supervisor seats are for two-year terms.

Prairie du Chien school board

There are three seats up for election to the Prairie du Chien School Board in the Spring Election on April 5. 

Incumbent School Board President Lonnie Achenbach has filed candidacy papers. Other candidates include James Hackett and Lacie Anthony. Incumbents Cassie Hubanks and Lynn O’Kane filed notifications of non-candidacy.

Each seat is for a three-year term.

Prairie du Chien 

city council

There are no contested races for Prairie du Chien City Council for the Spring Election on April 5. Each seat is for a two-year term. 

Nathan Bremmer is the incumbent alderperson in District 1. Kayla Ingham is the incumbent in District 2. Kelsi Ziegler is the incumbent in District 3. Karen Solomon is the incumbent in District 4. There are no registered candidates in District 5. Incumbent Russell Wittrig filed notification of non-candidacy. Todd Myers is the incumbent in District 6. Dave Hemmer is the incumbent mayor. Daniel Key is the incumbent municipal court judge.
