Cindy Lou Meyer, 58, of Colesburg, passed away Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022, surrounded by family.

Visitation was Monday, Jan. 31, at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg and one hour before services at the church.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Feb. 1, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Guttenberg, conducted by Rev. Michael Ashman.

Interment was at Bethel Cemetery, Colesburg.

Cindy was born on May 29, 1963, the daughter of Ira and Verda Mae (Noack) Moser. 

Cindy graduated from the Guttenberg High School and furthered her education at Capri College. On Oct. 8, 1994, Cindy was united in marriage with Neal Meyer at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Guttenberg and this union blessed the couple with two children, Haley and Preston. She spent many years working for Ertl Toy Factory in Dyersville, and worked several other jobs before eventually finding her favorite job at the Guttenberg Hospital. Cindy loved crocheting and passed that love onto her daughter. She loved going to auctions, garage sales, and collecting antiques. Cindy loved spending time with her family and friends.

Cindy will be forever loved and cherished by her husband, Neal; children, Haley Meyer and Preston (Jennifer) Meyer; three siblings, Shirleen (Darrell) Fredlake, Dianna (Kevin) Hale and Gary (Fern) Moser; two sisters-in-law, Denise Moser and DJ Moser and many other relatives and friends.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Adrian Meyer; three brothers, Owen Moser, Leon Moser and Lyle Moser. 

In lieu of flowers and all other styles of sympathy the family requests memorials to St. Croix Hospice, 101 Elkader St., Strawberry Point, IA 52076.
