Patrick J. Peloch, 67, of Eastman, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

He was born in Prairie du Chien, on March 25, 1954, the son of Donald and Leone (Welsh) Peloch. He grew up on the family farm in Eastman and graduated from Prairie du Chien High School. He then moved to Cheyenne, Wyo., to work on a hog farm before relocating to Arizona to drive truck. After trucking, he returned home where he worked for Design Homes in Prairie du Chien before going back to farming in the Eastman area. Pat married JoAnn Burgus in April of 1973. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, attending ball games in Eastman and Bush Ball Park, spending time outdoors and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He was a people person that could strike up a conversation with anyone. He loved his whole family dearly; they were his life.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, JoAnn; their children, Terri (Trevor) O’Kane and Josh Peloch; his siblings, Janet (Dave) Davisson, Mary Prindle, Paul (Joanne) Peloch, Audrey (Tom) Huftel, and Sue (Joe) Hawkins; his grandchildren, Brett and Evan O’Kane and BirkleeJo Niedziejko; brothers-in-law, Robert, Philip, and Jim Burgus; and sisters-in-law, Carolyn Wagner, Judy Doll, and Jeanne Mehall, along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Darlene Bodensteiner; mother-in-law, Dorothy Burgus; father-in-law, Robert Burgus; and brothers-in-law, Duane Prindle, Tom Wagner and Brad Mehall.

According to his wishes, a Celebration of Pat’s Life will be held at a later date. The Garrity Funeral Home, of Prairie du Chien, is assisting the family.
