Duane A. Dyke
Duane A. Dyke, 81, of Prairie du Chien, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born March 26, 1940, in Fennimore, the son of Dayton and Lorraine (Cooper) Dyke. He married Bonnie Hackett on August 26, 1967, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Prairie du Chien. Duane worked at National Decorated Metals in Prairie du Chien and later for the Burlington Northern Railroad. He worked for Quality Beverage in Prairie du Chien as a salesman/driver for 41 years until his retirement. He then volunteered for 10 years as a greeter at the Gundersen Clinic in Prairie du Chien.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Bonnie; his children, John (Susan) Dyke and Lori (Sam) Devine; his grandchildren, Dayton, Lauren, John and Jessica.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, Roger and John Dyke.
According to Duane’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. The Garrity Funeral Home of Prairie du Chien is assisting the family.
