Easter egg hunt Saturday at Riverside Playground
Area youngsters are invited to attend the annual Easter egg hunt in Guttenberg to be held Saturday, April 16, at Riverside Playground, 300 South River Park Drive, one block south of Clayton Ridge School. The hunt will begin at 1 p.m.
The event is for youngsters ages 10 and under. Children should bring their own baskets to collect eggs.There will be three individually timed hunts, separated according to age groups.
There will be lots of prizes for all. Prizes and treats are donated by Guttenberg Rotary, Guttenberg Care Center/Eagle Ridge Assisted Living Center, Casey’s General Store, Kwik Star, Dollar General, Bender's Foods, Subway, Sodes Green Acre and Joe’s Pizza & Arcade.
Prior to the hunt, free face painting will be offered beginning at 12 noon, sponsored by Degnan-Green Insurance and Real Estate.
The egg hunt is sponsored by Guttenberg Rotary Club and the Guttenberg Care Center/Eagle Ridge Assisted Living Center.
