Prairie track athletes on to State Track Meet
Several Prairie du Chien athletes qualified for the State Track and Field Meet at UW-La Crosse on June 3-4 following the Prairie du Chien Division 2 Sectional May 26.
The girls 400 relay team of Kori Jaynes, Madi Fisher, Emma Wall and Taia Dressler took fourth in 51.56. Alternates are Greenlee Krahn and Teagan Radloff. The top four finishers in each event qualify for the State Meet.
The 1600 relay team of Teagan Radloff, Madi Fisher, Shayla Straka and Tannah Radloff won in a time of 4:13.31. Alternates are Jayden Henderson and Greenlee Krahn.
Bree Doll qualified for state in three events. Doll took third in the 100-meter dash in wheelchair competition in a time of 26.77. She was third in the 400 in 1:42.64. Bree was third in the 800 in 3:37.5.
Other competitors were:
Nicole Rickleff was 12th in the shot put at 32-11.
Rylie Lear was 14th in the shot put at 31-0.
Sheyanne Ronnfeldt was 16th in the shot put at 28-9.5.
Emma Wall was 10th in the long jump at 15-10.25.
Teagan Radloff was seventh in the triple jump at 34-6.75.
Shayla Straka was ninth in the triple jump at 34-4.75.
Taia Dressler was ninth in the high jump at 5-0.
Blake Thiry was ninth in the 300 hurdles in 43.46.
Thiry was fifth in the triple jump at 43-1.25.
Ryan Wall was ninth in the pole vault at 11-6.
Wall was fifth in the discus at 140-7.
Tannah Radloff was eighth in the 400 in 1:02.76.
The Prairie du Chien girls team was 14th with 18 points. The boys team was 20th with 8 points.
