Joyce B. Davidson, 82, of Prairie du Chien, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 3, 2022, at Bluff Haven Assisted Living in Prairie du Chien. 

She was born on March 10, 1940, in Prairie du Chien, the daughter of Leo and Anastasia (Bouzek) White. Joyce attended school in Prairie du Chien. She married Keith Donaldson and, to this union, five children were born. Joyce was an avid Badger, Packer, and Golden State Warrior fan. She enjoyed scrap booking, quilting, and solving sudoku puzzles. Joyce loved her dog, Rusty, and most of all, her family. Family was most important to her. She later married John Davidson on Oct. 17, 1978. 

She is survived by her children, Keith (Denise) Donaldson, Kathy Splinter, Bob (Teresa) Donaldson, Dave (Paul) Donaldson, and Diane (Brad) Braun; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a sister, Teresa “Bunny” (Don) Heal; two stepsons; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; her brother, Robert White; her sisters, Delores (Jerry) Ploessl, Joan (Charlie) Dean, and an infant sister, Joan Lucille.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, June 8, at 11 a.m. at St. Gabriel’s Church of the Holy Family Parish, Monsignor Charles Stoetzel officiating, with burial in Calvary Cemetery, in Prairie du Chien. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. The Garrity Funeral Home, of Prairie du Chien, is assisting the family.
