Prairie cross country running well, new PRs

Malachi Ames cruises along.

Sam Kramer of Prairie du Chien runs in the MFL Mar Mac Meet on Sept. 1.

Prairie’s Tannah Radloff runs up a hill at the MFL Mar Mac cross country meet.

On Aug. 30, there was a cross country meet at Wauzeka-Steuben.

 For Prairie du Chien, Allie Mathies ran a nice race and picked up 5th place and Kate Gebhard picked up 8th place to medal. Sadie Torgerson finished in 12th place on the night.

For the Prairie boys, Finnian Stafford-Johnson finished in 26th place and Josyah Brunning picked up 28th place on the night.

 

MFL Mar Mac

On Sept. 1, MFL Mar Mac had a cross country meet. 

 

On the boy’s side, Prairie du Chien ran awesome and picked up 5th place. Sam Kramer hammered out a new PR-18.41 and 10th place. Malachi Ames picked up 17th, Ryan Waller snagged 28th, Joey Kramer was 30th and with a new PR-21:10, Bryce Priebe 31st, Garrett DeHart with 33rd and a new PR -22:03, and Tyler Harris pounded out a new PR-22:44 and 37th overall.

On the girl’s side, Prairie ran exceptionally well and ended the night in 3rd place. 

Tannah Radloff led the way with 7th place, Teagan Radloff picked up 11th, Josie Kramer collected 12th, Shayla Straka powered out 17th place and Ava Hager rounded out the team with 26th place. 

This marks the first time the girls placed four runners in the top 20 at this meet against some really tough competition.
