Nancy Diane (née Schneider) Wilkinson, 90 of Bloomington, passed away Sunday, Oct. 9, 2022, at Bluff Haven in Prairie du Chien. 

She was born in Milwaukee, on Aug. 9, 1932, the daughter of Marie Gaulke. She grew up in Prairie du Chien and graduated from Prairie du Chien High School. She was a candy striper nurse at the local hospital in Prairie du Chien while she was in high school. Nancy married Ben Wilkinson on June 24, 1950, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA. Together, they raised their family on a dairy farm in Bloomington. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with all her lady friends. Nancy, Ben, and Greg were grateful to spend many winters in Florida and Arizona where they made many lasting friendships. She was also an active member of the Bloomington United Methodist Church. 

She is survived by her husband of 72 years Ben; their children Greg, Diane (Greg) Perkins, and Theresa (Steve) Pendleton; her grandchildren Jay (Shelly) and Stephanie (Justin Endres) Pendleton; and her great-grandchild Emilia Pendleton. 

She was preceded in death by her mother and sister Susan Schumacher. 

Funeral Services will be Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the Lancaster United Methodist Church in Lancaster, Pastor David Kim and Pastor Lance Wetter officiating, with burial in the Patch Grove Cemetery in Patch Grove. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 9 until the time of service. The Garrity Funeral Home of Prairie du Chien is assisting the family.
