Denise Marie (Miller) Boardman, 67, of Guttenberg passed away on Oct. 25, 2022, at the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital. 

There will be a private graveside service at Goshen Cemetery and a celebration of life at the Guttenberg Eagles Club on Sunday, Nov. 13, from 12:30 – 3:30 p.m.

Arrangements were handled by Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg. 

Denise was born on May 29, 1955, the daughter of Walter and Edith (Ferguson) Miller. 

Denise graduated from Guttenberg High School, class of 1973. She was united in marriage to Joe Boardman December 1987. Their best times were going out on the river, living in the country in Millville and just being together. Denise was a member of the Eagles club and enjoyed visiting with friends there. She was also an avid Cubs fan. 

She is survived by her siblings, Dayton (Sue) Miller, Marion (Charlotte) Miller, Daniel (Jean) Miller, Owen (Carol) Miller, Dianne Knockel, Betty (Tom) Thompson and Susanne (Jay) Westemeier; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Denise had a special bond with her nephew, Steven Miller, he was always there for her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe; parents; sister, Donna Balk; brothers, Merlin, Jerry Lee, Walter Jr. and Davey; nieces, Theresa Miller-Eglseder and Julie (Balk) Schlueter. 

The family would like to thank the staff at Guttenberg Hospital for the excellent care she received.
