Robert W. “Bob” Granzow age 89 of Eastman, Wisc. passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, January 30, 2023. He was born July 18, 1933, the son of Charles and Bernice (George) Granzow. Bob served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He married Marilyn Hathaway on May 15, 1955. She preceded him in death on October 6, 1961. He later married Leota Hollenberger on June 23, 1962. Leota also preceded Bob in death on February 27, 2018. Bob farmed most of his life in the Eastman area and served as the Eastman Village President for many years.
He is survived by his children Wayne (Carmen)Granzow, Paul (Taya) Granzow, Lori (Gregg Harris) Kossman, Lesa (George) Mellis, Becky (Tim) Vogel, Bob (Terri Groezinger) Granzow, Andrew (Jennifer) Granzow, 22 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wives, Marilyn and Leota, and a brother Roger (Lorraine) Granzow.
Funeral services will be Friday, February 3, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Salem United Methodist Church, Rev. Zach Bloom officiating with burial in the National Cemetery both in Eastman. Military honors will be accorded graveside. Friends may call on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Garrity Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien, WI and at the church on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Eastman First Responders, the Eastman Fire Dept., or the Salem United Methodist Church. www.garrityfuneralhome.com
