The PdC/River Ridge/Seneca Blackhawks girls soccer team hosted conference power Platteville/Lancaster on Tuesday, May 16 and unfortunately, the Hawks saw the visitors leave with an 8-0 win. The loss dropped the Hawks record to 6-7-2 overall for the season and 2-6-1 in the Southwest Wisconsin Conference.

PdC/River Ridge/Seneca still has an opportunity to clinch the program’s first ever .500 season or better with two more wins.

The Hawks host Richland Center on Tuesday, May 23 at 5:00 p.m. and Driftless United on Thursday, May 25 at 5:00 p.m. for senior night.

The Hawks also learned this week that they have earned the number eleven seed in their Division 3 regional grouping and will travel to sixth seeded Delavan-Darien on Tuesday, May 30 for a regional semifinal game at 7 p.m.

The eleventh seed given to the Hawks is the highest seed earned in program history so far.
