Kimberly Tesar Trappe June 14, 1972-September 5, 2023

Kimberly Tesar Trappe, 51, of Monona, IA, passed away unexpectedly Sept. 5, 2023, at Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien, WI. Kim was born June 14, 1972, to John Fredrick and Sharon Ann (Bradley) Tesar in Prairie du Chien, WI. She graduated from Prairie du Chien High School.
On June 9, 2001, Kim was united in marriage with Leon Rueben Trappe at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. She was an avid crafter, loved her animals and enjoyed working on the farm. Kim also enjoyed working at Fisk Farm and Home and visiting with all the customers. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving Kim are her husband, Leon Trappe; parents, John and Sharon Tesar; brother, Tim Tesar; her animals, Peanut, Frankie and Willow; sister-in-law, Lori (Kevin Welch) Trappe; brothers-in-law, Larry (Lynette) Trappe and Loren Trappe and mother-in-law, Sheron Trappe.
Kim was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Robert Trappe; maternal grandparents, Stewart and Alberta Bradley and paternal grandparents, John and Jean Tesar.
Visitation was held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sept. 10 at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Monona, IA. There will also be a one hour visitation before services at the church on Monday.
Funeral Services were held at 11 a.m. on Sept. 11 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Monona, IA, with Rev. Erika Lenth as the officiant.
Burial followed at Monona City Cemetery, Monona, IA.
Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service assisted the family with arrangements.
