For the second time in three games to start of the 2023-24 season, the Wauzeka-Steuben girls basketball team  put up 70-plus points as the Hornets soundly defeated the North Crawford Trojans 76-34 on Thursday, Nov. 30 in the conference opener for both teams.

The Hornets led 32-16 at halftime before outpacing the Trojans 44-18 in the second half to move the Hornets to 3-0 on the young season.

Next up for the Hornet girls following a home game with conference opponent De Soto on Tuesday night is a road contest at La Farge on Friday, Dec. 8 with game time scheduled for 7:15 p.m.
