PdC Girls Golfers finish in second at Lancaster meet

The Prairie du Chien Girls Golf team traveled to Lancaster last Thursday for the fourth SWAL-SWC Mini-Meet of the season and came away with a second place finish.
The Hawks compiled a team score of 205 to finish second. The score put the team six shots behind first place Southwestern/Cuba City/Benton and one shot ahead of third place Wisconsin Dells.
Junior Elisia Wynos was the Hawks leading golfer on the day, placing second individually with a 41, three shots behind medalist Brooklyn Bussan of Southwestern/Cuba City/Benton.
Camryn Knapp was eighth with a 52, while Hannah Fritsche was 12th (54), Irelynd Cejka was 14th (58) and Rita Achenbach 20th (66) rounded things out for the Hawks.
The Hawks will return to Lancaster on Thursday before traveling to Cuba City on Monday, Sept. 16.
