Curtis F. Tomkins, 68, of Waterloo, died on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025, at Pinnacle Specialty Care. 

Memorial gathering was Saturday, Feb. 8, at Locke at Tower Park, Waterloo.

Curtis was born on Jan. 25, 1957, in Waterloo, to Merle and Darlene (Griefnow) Tomkins. He attended Waterloo East High School and Cedar Falls High School. Curtis married Susan Jean Smith on Nov. 25, 1977, in Waterloo. Curtis loved hunting, fishing, time at his cabin and traveling with family, above all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
