Steven L. Moore, 79, passed away Monday, Feb. 3, 2025, in his home. 

No services will be held at this time. 

Steven was born on Sept. 28, 1945, to Glen and Elizabeth (Cassutt) Moore in Springfield, Ill. Shortly after, they moved to Guttenberg. He attended Guttenberg High School and graduated in 1963. Steven joined the U.S. Army after high school and served a tour in Vietnam. He married Julie Dement on Feb. 15, 1974. Steven worked for Hilton Homes, Trademark Homes, and Lock and Dam 10 until retirement. Steven also spent several years as a commercial fisherman in Guttenberg in his free time. Steven enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, and his daily drive with his wife, Julie. He enjoyed spending time with his family and close circle of friends. 

Steve is survived by his wife of nearly 51 years, Julie Moore; children, Aaron (Ann) Moore and Alisa (Lindsey LeGrand) Christianson; grandchildren, Eva (Mason) Reimer, Elana Moore, Jake Moore, Ethan (Jennifer) Christianson, Ellie Christianson, Emilie Christianson, Tate LeGrand; and great-grandson, Liam Christianson and expected sibling on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, John.
