A ribbon cutting ceremony and open house to celebrate the GEIDC Community Resource Center in the 500 block of South First Street in Guttenberg will be held Friday, March 14, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. 

"We will celebrate this monumental project that will serve our communities for years to come," say local officials.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will kick off at 2:00 p.m., featuring remarks from guests, including Governor Kim Reynolds, representatives from Upper Mississippi Gaming Corporation, Clayton Ridge School District, Unlimited Services, and the GMHC Family Resource Center.

Following the ceremony, guests are invited to tour the newly-built facility and learn more about the essential services it will provide. Over the coming months, the building will welcome its new tenants, including the GMHC Family Resource Center, Clayton Ridge School District, and Unlimited Services.

After the tours, attendees are invited to continue the celebration next door at Guttenberg Brewing Company at 3:30 p.m. for a casual gathering with refreshments.

"This event marks an exciting step forward in strengthening resources for our community, and we invite the public to share in the celebration," say planners.
