Central seniors earn all-conference softball honors

Reese Berns

Savannah Orr

Central softball players Reese Berns and Savannah Orr are Upper Iowa all-conference honorable mention selections.

 

Berns, a senior, played in 24 games for the Warriors, putting up a .219 batting average and .324 on base percentage. She collected 14 hits—10 singles, two doubles and two triples—along with eight walks. Her stat line also included eight runs scored, five RBIs and three stolen bases.

 

Orr earned a .221 batting average and .312 on base percentage over 24 games. The senior totaled 15 hits, which was third most on the team, as well as nine walks and two RBIs. Orr’s 16 runs were tied for most on the team and she was Central’s stolen base leader with seven.
