Michael J. Anderegg

Michael John Anderegg, 47, of Guttenberg, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus, surrounded by his loving family on Friday, Aug. 22, 2025, at MercyOne Hospital in Dubuque.

Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Guttenberg. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. with burial to follow in Ceres Cemetery in Garnavillo. 

Michael was born on June 22, 1978, in Guttenberg, to John and Karen (Kraus) Anderegg. He graduated from Western Dubuque High School in 1996.

Imagine the Possibilities of Guttenberg was assisting Mike through life. They were like Mike’s 2nd family.

He is survived by his parents; brother, Matt (Mallory Walker) Anderegg of Austin, Texas; sister, Heather Hamm of Carlisle; nephew, Noah Hamm and niece, Ava Hamm of Carlisle; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family would like to thank all the doctors who helped Mike and all the nurses in the ICU who took care of him while he was there.
