Suzanne M. Moore

March 19, 1955 - Sept. 29, 2025

Suzanne Michelle Moore passed into eternal life in the peace and love of her and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sept. 29, 2025.

Suzanne was born in Chicago, Ill., on March 19, 1955 and grew up in the south side suburb of Blue Island, until the family returned to Iowa in 1967. Although she greatly enjoyed the neighborhood she grew up in, she always preferred the simple beauty of the rural country setting near McGregor. To her, it was a little piece of heaven.

Suzanne earned a business administration degree from UW-La Crosse. She worked most of her life in the La Crosse area, until she was able to retire early and provide “Nana” care for her two grandsons until elementary school. She would often comment that her “Nana” job was the hardest, but most rewarding, job she ever had.

Suzanne is survived by her son, Donovan Moore, McGregor; her son, William Tippery and grandsons Ivan and Liam Tippery, Brownsville, Minn.; her sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Morris Weller, McGregor; her brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Sara Moore, Pleasant Hill; her sister and brother-in-law, Sheila Moore and Harry Walk, McGregor; and many cherished extended family members, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert S. Moore, Chicago; and parents, Robert and Elizabeth Moore, McGregor.
