April 15, 1952–November 12, 2025

Steven Lawrence Uher, age 73, of Evansville, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025, at home. 

He was born on April 15, 1952, in Prairie du Chien, WI to the late Lawrence and Helen (Munns) Uher. 

Steve moved to Evansville in 1993 and worked most of that time at Stoughton Trailers in Stoughton.

Steve is survived by his two daughters, Toni Uher of Prairie du Chien, and Jennifer (Jeremy) Lund of Janesville; grandchildren, Jacob (Mercedes) Shotliff of Evansville, Stephanie Shotliff of Janesville; sister, Jo Ellen Cox of Prairie de Chien; a very special niece Melody Cox of Prairie du Chien; great nephews, Austin and Talmadge and ex-wife, Elizabeth Uher. 

He is preceded in death by his two sons, Kory and Steven, his parents and sister, Virginia. 

There will be no services at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held in April of 2026. Ward-Hurtley Funeral Home, Evansville is assisting the family. For online condolences please visit www.wardhurtley.com
