A Bloomington woman was seriously injured in a one-vehicle rollover in Grant County Thursday morning, Jan. 19, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Department.
Just after 7 a.m., the sheriff’s office was notified of the crash at the intersection of Highway 18 and Fairground Road. Driver Janelle Crubel, 60, was trapped in her vehicle. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene, Crubel was freed from the vehicle by the Jaws of Life and transported to Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien with serious but non-life threatening injures. According to the family, she was later taken to Gundersen hospital in La Crosse for treatment of a broken back and leg.
Crubel was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash. No charges have been filed, according to the sheriff’s department. The vehicle was a total loss and was removed from the scene by B&M Towing, of Bloomington.
