Inurnment was at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Guttenberg.

Visitation was Sunday, Oct. 6, at Morris Funeral Home in Guttenberg and before services at the church.

Funeral services were Monday, Oct. 7, at United Methodist Church in Guttenberg

Gary Robert Goyette, 79, passed away on Sept. 21, 2024, at Christus St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe, N.M., during a short hospital stay following a heart attack.

Born in Wausau, Wis., on Aug. 5, 1945, he sported the nickname Flash in childhood but during High School in Mayville, Wis. acquired the nickname Gutsy which stuck for life.

Visitation was Friday, Sept. 27, at Morris Funeral Home in Garnavillo.

Inurnment will be held at a later date in Mederville Cemetery, Elkader.

Inurnment was at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Visitation was Wednesday, Sept. 18, at Morris Funeral Home in Guttenberg. 

Private inurnment was Thursday, Sept. 19.

Rose was born April 3, 1948, in Anamosa, the daughter of Woodrow and Georgia (Duffy) Coppess.

Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m., on Sunday, Sept. 22, at Morris Funeral Home in Guttenberg where a memorial service will commence at 3 p.m.

Inurnment will follow at Guttenberg City Cemetery.

LaVerne R. Troester, 88, of Garnavillo, passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, Sept. 4, after a brief cancer diagnosis.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20, at Morris Funeral Home in Garnavillo and one hour before services at the church.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Garnavillo.
