Emma Darlene Hefel (Suzy), 16, was called home on Thursday, June 15, 2017.

Visitation was Tuesday, June 20, at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg and one hour before services at the church.

Funeral services were Wednesday, Jun. 21, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Guttenberg, conducted by Rev. Marvin Bries.

Interment was at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Guttenberg.

Bennie Eugene Maier, 85, of Garnavillo, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, June 17, 2017, at the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital.

Visitation was Monday, June 19, at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home.

Inurnment will be at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island, Ill. 

Bennie was born on Aug. 11, 1931, in Milan, Ill., the son of Ben and Alice Maier.

Mary Leann Eischeid, 71, of Clayton, died Sunday, June 11, 2017.

Visitation was Thursday, June 15, at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Garnavillo and one hour before service at the church.

Funeral services were Friday, June 16, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Garnavillo.

Interment was at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Lawler, on Saturday, June 17.

Robert Edward Kottke, 89, Prairie du Chien, Wis., passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 10, at Faith Evangelical Free Church, Prairie du Chien, Wis., conducted by Pastor Kevin Kottke. Everyone is invited for food and fellowship following the service.

Bob was born April 24, 1928, in Bloomington, Wis., to Ed and Clara (Biener) Kottke. He graduated from Bloomington High School in 1946, and within a few months enlisted in the U.S. Army serving in the European Theatre of Occupation in Germany until 1948.

Raymond R. Gander, 82, of Sextonville, Wis., passed away Friday, June 2, 2017, at Harvest Guest Home in Richland Center, Wis., after a long battle with cancer.

Funeral services were Saturday, June 10, at the Clary Memorial Funeral Home in Richland Center, conducted by Pastor Gloria Stubitsch. Visitation was before services at the funeral home.

Georgann Batley, 88, of Guttenberg, died Monday, May 29, 2017, at the Guttenberg Care Center.

Memorial service will be on Saturday, June 24, at 10 a.m. at Living Water Bible Fellowship in Guttenberg and the family will greet friends after 9:30 a.m. prior to the service.

Inurnment will be at Ceres Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg.

Funeral services were Saturday, May 27, at the United Methodist Church, Guttenberg, conducted by Rev. Penny Hansel. Visitation was before services at the church.

Inurnment was at Bethel Cemetery, Osterdock.

Arrangements were handled by Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg.

Fredrick Earl Kuehl or as one of the many nicknames he had: the "Fredster", "Fast Freddy", "Skipper", or "Earl, " 46, of Albert Lea, Minn., formerly of Garnavillo and Clayton, passed away suddenly on May 16, 2017, at Sanford Sheldon Medical Center in Sheldon.

Visitation was Tuesday, May 23, at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Garnavillo. Funeral services followed the visitation at the funeral home, conducted by Rev. Hillary Burns-Kite.

Interment will be private.

Ronnie L. Schlueter, 75, of Wauzeka, Wis., passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017, at home after a courageous battle with cancer. 

Visitation was Thursday, May 11, at the Garrity Funeral Home, Prairie du Chien, Wis.

Funeral services were Friday, May 12, at St. Gabriel’s Church of the Holy Family Parish, Prairie du Chien, Wis., conducted by Rev. James Weighner.

Burial was in the Wauzeka Cemetery in Wauzeka, Wis.

On Wednesday, May 17, 2017, in the comfort of her own home, with the love of her children by her side and the smell of coffee brewing and food cooking in the kitchen, Mildred Anna “Millie” Meyer, 92, of Dubuque was called by God to join her family, friends, and husband, Melvin, in Heaven.

Visitation was Sunday, May 21, at Eglehof, Siegert and Casper Funeral Homes and Cremation, Dubuque.

Funeral services were Monday, May 22, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Dubuque, conducted by Rev. Steven Rosonke and Rev. Michael Schueller.
