Susan Lynn Hefel, 61, of Guttenberg, died Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital in Guttenberg. 

Funeral services were Friday, May 20, at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg, conducted by Deacon James Pfaffly. Visitation was before services at the funeral home.

Interment was at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, North Buena Vista.

Warren “Shorty” Hefel, 63, of North Buena Vista passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at MercyOne Hospital in Dubuque.

Visitation was Sunday, May 15, at Kramer Funeral Home in Holy Cross and Monday before services at the church hall.

Funeral services were Monday, May 16, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, North Buena Vista, conducted by Rev. Marvin Bries and Deacon Jim Pfaffly.

Una Rose (Oldham) Bishop died of Alzheimer’s disease on Mother’s Day, May 8, 2022. 

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., Friday, May 20, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Guttenberg.

Funeral services will follow visitation at the church, conducted by Rev. Michael Ashman. 

Interment will be at Brown Cemetery, Colesburg.

David Adam Pierschbacher, 46, of Greeley, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at the Regional Medical Center in Manchester.

Visitation was Tuesday, May 10, at the Greeley Fire Department in Greeley and before services.

Funeral services were Wednesday, May 11, at the fire department, conducted by Pastor Mike Jackson and Rev. Neil Hofer.

Linda (Schutte) Marting, 71, of Montour died March 13, 2022 at Grinnell Regional Medical Center. 

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 21, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the south gazebo on River Park Drive, Guttenberg. Food will be served.

Linda was born Feb. 2, 1951 in Farmersburg and was a 1969 graduate of Guttenberg High School.

Curtis H. Troester, 90, of Prairie du Chien, Wis., passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien.

Memorial services will be Saturday, May 7, at 12 noon at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Deacon Pat Malanaphy. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, both in Prairie du Chien. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Military honors will be accorded graveside by the Prairie du Chien Honor Guard.

Funeral services were Friday, April 29, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Elkader, conducted by Rev. John Haugen. Visitation was before services at the church. 

Inurnment was at St. Joseph Cemetery, Elkader.
