Wauzeka-Steuben, River Ridge and Seneca were among the numerous teams competing in the Kickapoo-La Farge Invitational cross country meet on Sept. 29.

Prairie du Chien beat visiting Platteville three games to one in an SWC volleyball match on Thursday, Sept. 22 on Pink Night. 

Platteville won the first set, and then Prairie took the next three to claim the match victory.

Prairie du Chien won their homecoming football game against visiting River Valley 53-14 Friday night, Sept. 23. 

Kurt Wall got things going for Prairie du Chien with a 46-yard touchdown run with 9:02 to go in the first quarter and the PAT was good as Prairie took a 7-0 lead.

Prairie du Chien blanked visiting Richland Center 43-0 in an SWC football game Friday night, Sept. 9. 

Ty Wagner scored on a 2-yard run with 6:24 to play in the first quarter and the PAT was good as the Blackhawks led 7-0.

Platteville defeated visiting Prairie du Chien three games to none on Sept. 1 in Southwest Wisconsin Conference action. 

The Hillwomen defeated the Lady Hawks 25-10, 25-17 and 25-12.

On Aug. 30, there was a cross country meet at Wauzeka-Steuben.

 For Prairie du Chien, Allie Mathies ran a nice race and picked up 5th place and Kate Gebhard picked up 8th place to medal. Sadie Torgerson finished in 12th place on the night.

The Prairie du Chien-River Ridge-Seneca boys soccer team hosted Wisconsin Heights-Barneveld on Aug. 25 for the first ever high school boys soccer match on John C. Mulrooney Field. 

Heights scored two goals in the second half to earn the 2-0 victory and drop PDC to 0-1 on the young season.

River Ridge forces a fumble deep in their own territory Friday night to stop an SWS scoring threat in the first quarter.

River Ridge defeated host Seneca/Wauzeka-Steuben 37-26 in a nonconference football game Friday night in Wauzeka.

The Timberwolves scored early with a kickoff return for a TD by Braden Crubel with 11:45 to go in the first quarter to go up 8-0 after the 2-point conversion.
