MFL MarMac boys win UIC, but face tough competition at sectional golf

Central boys track and field season comes to end

MFL MarMac boys win five events at conference track and field meet


MFL MarMac had another record-setting performance in the 4x100 at the UIC meet. Wyatt Powell, Carver Blietz-Bentien, Kade McElwaine and Karter Decker combined for a time of 44.45 seconds, breaking their own mark of 44.69 set the week prior. (Photos by Audrey Posten)

Bulldog Eli Hanson turned in a distance of 18-00.5 feet in the long jump, which placed him third.

Brandon Christofferson raced to third in the 400-meter dash at the Upper Iowa Conference Meet, held May 4 at Clayton Ridge.

Carter Streicher turned in a pair of solid finishes in the hurdles, including third in the 110-meter event and fourth in the 400.

Aiden Schoulte threw his way to third in the shot put.

Kaylin Garbes tied for third against the Trojans, after shooting a 58.

Mackenzie Bachman completed the meet against Turkey Valley with a score of 58, tying her for third place.

Devon Meyer shot a 56 for runner-up honors in MFL MarMac's win over the Trojans.

Morgan Jacobson was part of a three-way tie for third against Turkey Valley. She finished the meet with a 58.

Against Turkey Valley, Mallory Lang rounded out the Bulldogs’ varsity scores with a 70, which tied her for ninth place.
