Bears deny Bulldogs trip to the UNI-Dome

Hunter Meyer (53) and the offensive line helped pave the way for a combined 177 yards for MFL MarMac runners. That total was the most allowed by the Bears defense this season.

Wyatt Powell picked up 111 of MFL MarMac's rushing yards on 13 carries.

Bulldogs are quarterfinal bound for fourth straight season

Kade McElwaine posted a team-high 14.5 tackles versus the Wolverines. Twelve were solo efforts and 3.5 for a loss. He also had a sack.

Four Warriors earn all-conference recognition

The 2022 Central Warriors volleyball season saw a new coach, an improved record and a playoff victory. The Warriors finished 12-25 overall and 4-4 in the Upper Iowa Conference, and had four players selected for all-conference.

Central sending two runners to state

Gavin Holst led the Central boys with a hard fought 17th place finish, in a course best time of 18:42.

Delaney Scherf finished 17th at the Oct. 20 state qualifying meet.

Carter Kruger crossed the finish line 85th at Cascade.

Taylor Moser raced to 19th place at the state qualifying meet.

Michael White posted a career best time at Cascade.
