Annual GRRRR 5K/10K supports chamber


Run or walk in the Great River Road - Road Race (GRRRR) 5K or 10K on Saturday, Oct. 4, at Pikes Peak State Park near McGregor.

The McGregor-Marquette Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the return of the Great River Road - Road Race (GRRRR), one of their signature fundraising events, which unites runners, walkers and families from across the region. This year’s race begins at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4, with the start and finish line located at Pikes Peak State Park near McGregor.

Four top-10 times lead Warrior boys to team title

MFL MarMac girls have top team and individual at home cross country invite


For the second straight season, the MFL MarMac girls cross country team won its home invitational. The Bulldogs finished the Sept. 4 meet at Tri City Golf Course near Luana with a team score of 28, well ahead of second place North Fayette Valley.
